Medical Reimbursement Rates
WorkSafe Victoria updates its reimbursement rates for medical services every November.
WorkSafe’s maximum reimbursement rates are published in:

This publication, Reimbursement Rates for Medical Services 2009 contains the rates that WorkSafe Victoria will reimburse for medical services, effective 1 November 2009.
At the time of production this publication contained up to date information as released by Medicare Australia (Medicare). Medicare may release further information after 1 November 2008.
This publication will be updated to reflect any further changes that are implemented by Medicare. Please check our website for the latest version.

Medical Practitioner billing review program
WorkSafe has a billing review program which checks that payments for services provided to injured workers are reasonable and appropriate.
