Policies and guidelines set out how and when the WorkSafe will encourage compliance with the Accident Compensation Act (1985) and the Accident Compensation (WorkCover Insurance) Act 1993 and prosecute offences.

Injury Support & Service (IS&S), formerly RCBU, has responsibility for rehabilitation and compensation.
