Review
It’s important to review your risk controls regularly to ensure they are maintained and working effectively.
You need to review (and, if necessary, revise) your risk controls whenever any changes are made to the workplace that could increase risks, such as changes that are likely to disturb or damage any asbestos-containing material.
A review is also necessary if any health and safety representative requests one.
The asbestos register must also be reviewed at least every five years to keep it current.
