Community Services

Community services workers play a vital role assisting others, often in challenging circumstances.

The sector provides a wide range of services to the Victorian community in more than 6,500 workplaces across the state.

The risks involved are many and varied, depending on the types of services provided, the geographic location and the clients that are being cared for.

This guide will help you understand the risks of working in community services, and will explain what you need to do to make your workplace safer.
