Review

It’s important to review your risk assessment and controls regularly to ensure they are implemented correctly and to monitor their effectiveness.

You need to review your risk assessment and controls whenever any changes are made to the workplace that could increase risks, such as changes to the way work is done or to the substances used. You also need to undertake a review if new information about hazards and control measures becomes available or any incidents occur.

In any event, you must review your risk assessment at least once every 5 years.
